Blasting and Extraction
The process begins with blasting large rock formations in quarries to break them into manageable pieces.
Crushing and Screening
The extracted rocks are transported to a crushing plant where they are crushed into smaller sizes. Screening separates different sizes of aggregates.
Washing and Sorting
Aggregates are washed to remove impurities and then sorted into various sizes and grades.
Stockpiling
Cleaned and sorted aggregates are stockpiled in large storage areas ready for transportation.
Loading and Transportation
Aggregates are loaded onto trucks for transportation to landscape supply yards.
Receiving at Landscape Yard
Trucks arrive at the landscape yard, where aggregates are unloaded and stockpiled again for sale.
Sales and Customer Pickup
Customers purchase aggregates either in bulk or in bags, which are then loaded onto their vehicles.
Delivery to Job Sites
For larger orders, the landscape yard arranges for delivery of aggregates directly to the customer’s job site.
